I have several suggestions for St. Patrick’s Day festivities in Nyack. If you haven’t been invited to celebrate at a friend’s local Nyack home never fear as we have three wonderful, authentic, Nyack Irish taverns all planning St. Patricks Day celebrations.We all want to be Irish on St. Patrick’s Day so by going to an Irish pub we become Irish through osmosis.
In no particular order O’Donoghue’s Tavern, Nyack: is a great place to celebrate. Also the location where last season of Ray Donovan shot most of their bar scenes. On March 16 they have OD’s “Prizefight St. Patty’s Day Party” with Prizefight Irish Whiskey front and center. Starting at 5 p.m. it includes shot and beer specials along with live music by The Slippery Chickens at 10 p.m. The following day you will be treated to a corned beef and cabbage special along with an open-faced Reuben, Shepherd’s Pie (with grass fed lamb) and Irish soda bread.
