The Village of Nyack is currently executing a $551,000 Shoreline Pathway Project at Memorial Park.ark.
The project will focus on rebuilding the shoreline along a stretch from the viewing platform to the pedestrian bridge on the park side, with the goal of preserving and enhancing the waterfront for public use and future generations.
Work is expected to take approximately three months to complete. During construction, certain areas of the park will be temporarily closed to ensure public safety.
Village officials thanked the committee involved in planning the project, as well as A-Tech Concrete, the contractor overseeing the work.
Residents and visitors are being asked for patience during the construction period, with officials noting the improvements are expected to significantly enhance the park once completed.
