As many of you may know the Village of Nyack board just had new parking meters installed in downtown Nyack. This was done to make the meters more user friendly. Well there have been a lot of complaints that they are not so easy to use. In an effort to improve the situation Nyack’s new Pay-By-Plate parking meters are getting a software update to simplify their on screen instructions. During the week of Sept 16, staff from Flowbird, the company behind the new meters, will be on Main Street, Broadway, and in the Nyack Municipal Parking Lots beginning at 11a each day to explain the changes to the village’s parking kiosks. We are hoping that things will be easier after the update.
