Old World Market right outside the Village of Nyack is great if you are near the area and looking for a gourmet grocery like you find in NYC. They have the biggest hot food buffet I’ve ever seen in a market – it is quite impressive. Most of their selections are gourmet or imported. They feature a large cheese shop, fresh baked bread, and a fresh meat and seafood shop. They also have a large fresh vegetable area, which is separated slightly from the store in a nifty refrigerated room.
They have just added an outside dining area which is very pretty and comfortable. Oh, and last thing: I’d like to send a special shout out to the staff. They are all super friendly and helpful.
