I have recently had a client request that their Nyack home not be shown during Thankgiving week.I thought about this and as Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays I understood the urge not to be thinking about strangers coming to look and judge your home. I also thought as their realtor I wanted to maximize their chances of getting the best return on their investment. It made sense to me that anyone who would be looking during the holidays would most likely be highly motivated to find a home. I am not suggesting showing your home on Thanksgiving Day, but if there was a possibilty of a sale all effort should be made to accomodate the buyer. Anyway I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving!
